Thosewere wonderful times, when our gang of friends would gather in a small studioto DJ, make music, listen to rap, and meet amazing, creative people. For me, itwas a place of power — a place where I could be with my best friends, soulmates, and colleagues, or simply spend time alone. You could shut the doorthere and forget about time, problems, and the outside world. I adored themoments when we came together to think about how to make our studio better, discuss strategy, and share our successes or failures. And the parties we threwthere for friends were the warmest and most joyful I’ve ever had.

After thefull-scale invasion, I moved to Berlin. Amid constant shelling and undercurfew, the studio grew increasingly empty. One of the founders of SelectionRoom took up arms on the front lines and laid down his life defending Ukraine. After that terrible tragedy, the decision was made to close our small recordingstudio in Shuliavka.

I still can’t believe this is real. The best placein the world, with the best people, no longer exists. My heart aches. Eternalmemory to the hero KLMTS!

P. S. The recording studio had to be closed after one of its founders laid down his life defending Ukraine.
